We are seeking a highly experienced Property Manager with a strong background in managing properties under the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program.
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of HUD regulations, compliance requirements, and property management best practices.
Additionally, candidates with maintenance experience will be preferred, as they will play a crucial role in overseeing property maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:
Screen and select qualified tenants following HUD guidelines.
Provide responsive and professional solutions to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Enforce lease agreements, ensuring compliance with both HUD rules and regulations.
Monitor rent collection, address delinquent payments, and implement necessary actions.
Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of HUD regulations and ensure complete property compliance.
Prepare and submit required HUD reports, audits, and documentation accurately and punctually.
Communicate changes in HUD policies to the team.
Oversee property maintenance and repairs to ensure properties are safe and habitable.
Collaborate with maintenance staff and vendors for repairs, improvements, and preventative measures.
Conduct regular inspections and promptly address health and safety concerns.
Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements and rental contracts in accordance with HUD guidelines.
Stay informed on lease renewals and rental adjustments, complying with HUD regulations.
Maintain accurate lease documentation and organized records.
Organize and manage tenant files, leasing documents, and property maintenance records.
Handle administrative tasks including rent adjustments, lease terminations, and renewals.
Qualifications and Skills:

years of property management experience, with a strong focus on HUD-subsidized properties.
Profound knowledge of HUD regulations, Section 8, and housing assistance programs.
Knowledge of EIV and other HUD programs Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective tenant and team interactions.
Strong interpersonal abilities to foster positive tenant relationships and team collaboration.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Understanding of local and federal fair housing laws.
