As a Cook on our Nutritional Services team you'll:
Prepare entrees, vegetables, gravies, soup, sauces, baked goods for patients, residents, special functions, and cafeteria service Plan cooking/baking schedule to assure that all food will be ready on schedule Measure/mixe ingredients according to standardized recipes using a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils such as blenders, steamers, grinders, mixers and slicer Follow and record time and temperature reports following Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines Monitors walk-in coolers Our Cook role requires:
HS Diploma/GED Previous professional cooking and baking experience Serve Safe Certification is preferred Benefits include:
