As key member of our Maintenance team you'll:
Perform general maintenance of the Physical Plant for our Hospital and Nursing Home.
You'll utilize knowledge of electrical, plumbing, steam, mechanical, construction, and equipment operation.
Assists in emergency situations ensuring uninterrupted patient care and access to all associates, patients, and visitors.
Assists outside vendors/contractors as needed in handling materials for repair or installation Performs electrical work/circuit troubleshooting.
Performs electrical safety checks of hospital equipment (beds, appliances) Operates and maintains boilers.
Tests generators and emergency equipment.
Maintains lawn and grounds, including snow removal at all facilities.
REQUIRES:
High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.
(2) years of experience in Plumbing, Electrical and Steam.
Physical plant maintenance or Construction skill trade experience helpful.
Will perform squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Regularly lifts heavy weights up to 75 pounds.
Prolonged standing, walking, and climbs ladders and scaffolding.
