Jacques Torres Chocolate is a high end chocolate manufacturer and retailer is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller for a full-time position with room for growth.
In this role, this individual will be responsible for monitoring the cash flow of the company (as the business is seasonal in nature), and assisting with the month-end close and financial reporting process and financial reporting in collaboration with the rest of the accounting team.
In this role, this person will also help various departments make business decisions in a timely manner by preparing sales analyses, cost calculation, or other reports.
Further, it is essential that Controller works very closely with Production staff to ensure the Company's manufacturing ERPsystem is functioning properly and implement process improvements.
This individual will report to the business owners and CFO, and work closely with the COO and heads of various departments including Quality Assurance, Production/ Manufacturing, Purchasing,and other areas.
We are looking for someone who enjoys operational accounting, and has a team-oriented mindset.
